raj Joshi, Post Doctoral Fellow, Van Andel Institute, won second prize for his poster presentation during the 2012 Society for the Study of Reproduction’s (SSR) annual conference, State College, Pennsylvania. Dr. Joshi was selected from among 600 poster presentations during the annual meeting in August. The title of his poster was Down regulation of MicrRNA-451 Contributes to the Pathophysiology of Endometriosis in both Women and Baboons.

Dr. Jae Wook Jeong, Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Michigan State University is a recipient of a four year, $720,000 Research Scholar Award from the American Cancer Society. Dr. Jeong’s project will investigate the role of Mig-6 gene in endometrial cancer with implications for development of new diagnostic and therapeutic tools relevant to treatment of endometrial cancer.
